Wastes are a highly variable resource category that includes everything from Sewage materials and organic food Wastes through to industry waste materials and the municipal solid waste (MSW) materials produced by all households and businesses across the country. Waste resources are highly abundant, with particular opportunities for Bioenergy focusing on Wastes that would otherwise be sent to landfill. Through segregating Wastes and applying different Bioenergy conversion technologies, waste can be converted into a wide range of bio-products, fuels and energy.
